Week 4

So today I hit 5 months in total so that was exciting. This week has been pretty hard because no one wants to hear our message. I think we talked to like 30 Jehovah's Witness that would just tell us we were dumb and that we have just changed doctrine. 

The most exciting thing that happened was I went on splits with Elder Aguirre and we taught a less active member. She expressed she wasn't interested in teaching and then we taught her the plan of salvation. We forgot the most important part of the whole thing, The Atonement.  As I turned to Elder Aguirre to let him know we forgot it he pulled out his tablet and showed the Because Of Him video. The spirit was super strong. After we testified, she expressed she has felt the urge to quit smoking so she can be sealed in the temple with her husband. So she set a goal to start coming to church and slowly stop smoking. The power of the message of the atonement is amazing. Everyone read 3 Nephi 12: 5-12 it's good stuff.
