Howdy, 

I am in a place called Redmond, Oregon and it is 30 minutes outside of Bend.  We cover 6 areas and so we can drive an hour in either direction and still be in our area.  It is about 95 degrees everyday and is hot!  I thought I was going to escape the heat! But this place is a perfect mix between Southern Utah and the Canyons.  The farmlands are amazing.  My favorite place is a small town called Madras because it is so beautiful.  

My comp's name is Elder Beard and he has been out for 21  months.  He is super obedient and a super hard worker which has made this week great.  We have one solid investigator named Antonio who should be getting baptized in the next month.  The Latinos here speak very fast and it's been hard to catch on.

President has said he may need me in the English speaking area and if that's what he needs, I will be OK with it.  President Tateoka is the most inspired man I have ever met.  I love Oregon.  I actually have a dishwasher AND a dryer so that is really handy.  My district is the best because I have Riley's doppleganger so it feels like home (haha).
