July 15, 2019
Hello everyone! This week has been super-fast! To start it off I had an exchange with a brand new Elder, Elder Anderson. He is from South Jordan, Utah and is super cool. I love him!! He is 21 and has been out just 5 weeks. We had a super fun day working hard. We learned a lot from each other. The next day, a member from an English ward, went into Hillsboro and brought us Chic-Fil-a. First time in over a year since I have had it and I was in heaven. The song Heaven is a place on Earth (Belinda Carlisle) ran through my head as I ate my chicken sandwiches. That food truly makes heaven a place on earth.
Not going to lie, the work has been slow. But that's alright because we had a blessed weekend. (Read Bless-Ed for effect) We had 5 people ask us where our church was and told us they would come this up and coming Sunday . We plan to get back in contact with them this week and try and get someone to fellow ship them in their homes. Then we had dinner with some members who we taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ to give us a referral for a family of 6! Apparently the family is super awesome and we are going to work together to slowly transition this family into the area because they just moved here and hopefully into the Gospel!
I have grown such a strong testimony of this Gospel. I have a sure knowledge that Christ is our Redeemer. He died for me. He died for YOU. He LIVES, so that you and I can live again for eternities with our families and loved ones. We need to follow the 5 simple steps. The Gospel is simple, but the trials of life aren't. We need to remember who to turn to when we struggle. A quote that I like but  don’t fully remember so I won't fully quote it, goes something like this, "When life gets too hard to stand, kneel and pray" I love that. We have a Father in Heaven who wants to hear from us.
I love all of you, I hope you are eating chic fil a as well. Cuz it's delicious
