Hello my dear brothers and sisters! How are all of you?! Sorry
I haven't gotten out a solid weekly in a while, I've do not like writing. So this last week has been a good one. We
have recently started teaching a man named Alex. He was a former in our Area
Book and Elder Anderson and I were on exchanges and we felt inspired to go by
and visit him. He was super receptive to our visit. We were able to have a
follow up lesson where we were able to discern his needs. We taught the
Restoration and it went super well. He asked a lot of questions that led to
good discussion. He has never really heard about the Atonement before and so
when we explained that to him, he told us that he felt special that Christ died
for him. We are having a chapel tour this Tuesday night with a member and he is
super excited.
I had an exchange with the Zone Leaders this week. I was in
the lovely little town of Banks, Oregon. I'm pretty sure I have talked about it
in a past weekly email. It is small. Really small. But I was with Elder Gibson
who is from Pleasant Grove and goes home in 2 weeks. He is super funny
and we had a great time. Except everyone single person we decided to stop
by was not home. So that was really sad.
We were out tracking this week which usually never works,
but we found a lady named Shannon. But she is English speaking so we had to refer her to
the Sisters. But the sisters got back in contact with her and they have already
taught her.
Time is going by really quick. I have recently decided to
re-read the New Testament again. And the other day in my studies I came across
Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter
into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven.
I love this scripture because it is required of us to put
forth effort. We can't just say we have faith.
Love yall!
